In this past week's sermon, "The Children of Promise", we will continue our Journey through the Bible by witnessing the fulfillment of God's covenant with Abraham. The Lord said, "That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying, I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in they seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice." Genesis 22:17-18 We will come to understand how; "All the nations of the earth" were blessed through the lineage of Abraham, all because of his obedience and God's promise.
Evan Barnwell, United States Navy Sailor
Evan Barnwell is now serving our country as a United States Navy Sailor. He has completed Boot Camp in honorable and respectable fashion. Evan wishes to thank everyone for your prayers, thoughts and letters. Without support from family and friends, this journey would not be possible. God has blessed Evan tremendously. Evan now prepares to head to Virginia Beach to begin school and more Navy training. Congratulations Sailor!
